Dear all, I searched all posts but this info is hard to find.

I need to replace my Cal 39-2 fixed windows (see pic). Does anyone know the exact cut-out and outside dimensions and/or where to get the ready-made ones?

Hope to hear, thanks!
Bart

Try Mark Plastics/ Go Windows. They did a lot of the 70s Cals and they have a selection of materials.

No, they're not out of business. They have just changed names. They are now Meritech Industries or Meritech Windows. They have the same address and the same office phone number. The new owner is Ben Lopez you can reach him direct on his cell 310-925-4153 , you can message or text. He'll be at the shop later today or you can leave a text for him. He does have the templates for your boat. He's a good guy, he'll give you a good deal, mention Cal Sailors

We had glass with aluminum frames in both the Cal 25 and the Cal 28. On both boats I had removed them and rebedded them. I had replaced the glass in the 28 on one side where there was a crack. They were always clear and the sliders still worked after 30 years. The 29 has acrylic windows which are terribly crazed. We do have replacing them on the list but I fear when I remove them I will break the plastic frames . The big plus is we don't need curtains.
