I’ve re-plumbed my boat with aquapex. I’m adding a deck fill and included a connection in this manifold with a valve to fill the tank which is inconveniently located beneath my v-berth mattress. I’ll add flexible hose to the end where the valve is. I’m looking forward to not having to run a hose through the window!
From left to right:
In from dock water (runs aft behind drawers into closet and up to deck near fuel deck fill)
Out to hot water tank
Out to tank fill hose
Out to head sink, shower, toilet, Purasan, galley
In from water pump
Dock water connection and aquapex: Solution for when you don’t have a deck fill for your water tank.

Done! Just shut off the water pump and turn on the hose! I used a spade bit to start the hole, then finished with a diamond hole saw.

How do you avoid stubbing your toe on the deck fitting & breaking it off (or breaking your toe)? There's a reason why standard deck fill fittings and such are flush.

I have never found a way to avoid constantly stubbing my toes! The fitting won’t stick up very high when I remove the hose and fitting, and it is positioned next to the other deck hardware with equal or greater toe-stubbing risk.
